Various principle of continuous improvement policy involves focusing on the customer, ensuring the leadership support, driving of incremental change and setting of various goals for the overall improvement of the company.
Continuous improvement model and implementation
All the implementations are done on a small scale. The data are checked to analyse the results. The differences from the previous results are assessed as well. Implementation on a wider scale is also available.
Tools to support the continuous improvement process
Kanban is one of the most effective tools in continuous improvement process. It helps the organisational managers to manage, visualize and to optimize the workflow

Communicating with every level of employees, managing the small improvement inside the workplace, celebrating the innovations and promoting aw creative work place environment.

Purpose
The continuous improvement (CI) policy is required to improve the services and systematic processes to receive the best results or outcomes. It is also used to achieve the improvement of process through regular incremental process.
Scope
Improvement of existing services by proper technological use
Continuous improvement principles
There are mainly seven principles of Continuous Improvement.
1. It is very important to focus on the customers and their needs.
2. Workers Ideas are also need to be used for the improvement of workplace.
3. Ensuring the support of leadership is also essential for CI.
4. The incremental change needs to be included in very little amount. However, it should be delivered frequently.
5. It is also important use the fact based methods and monitoring techniques in the workplace.
6. It is necessary to set goals and give importance to worker’s feedback.
7. Teamwork should also be included in order to increase the collaborative environment
Continuous improvement model and implementation
A four-step method is used in the CI model. The four steps are Plan, Do, Check and Act. Plan is required to recognize the opportunity of change. Do refer to the implementation of the plan. In order to analyse the implementation result, Check step is included. Lastly, the Act step is necessary to assess the success or failure of the pan.

There are many tools and techniques use in the CI policy. Some of the examples of CI tools are A3, Kanban, The 5 whys and VSM (Value Stream Mapping).
